Rep. Miller to Participate in Cinco de Mayo Parade and 'Comcast Cares' Day

CONCORD, CA – 5/1/08 – On Saturday, May 3, Congressman George Miller (D-Martinez) will participate in two community events in Contra Costa and Solano Counties. Miller will speak at the local Comcast Cares Day in Vallejo about the importance of community service. He will then participate in the two-mile-long Cinco de Mayo Parade through Richmond and San Pablo, CA.

WHAT: Rep. Miller will speak about the impact and importance of community service at the 8th Annual Comcast Cares Day - a company-wide day of service on which Comcast employees and their families nationwide contribute over 180,000 volunteer hours in one day.
