Military Announces Service Academy Nights

CONCORD, CA – Rep. George Miller (D-Martinez) announces two Service Academy Nights, co-hosted by Rep. Ellen Tauscher and Rep. Jerry McNerney. These events are informational meetings designed to offer students who are interested in attending a military academy and their families an opportunity to meet firsthand with representatives from the US Military Service Academies and the local Congressional offices.

Current and prospective Academy applicants can learn about the unique educational advantages available at the services academies and about the Congressional nomination process. Applications for a nomination from Congressman Miller’s 7th district are now available online at http://www.house.gov/georgemiller under constituent services.

WHO: Staff from U.S. military academies and from the offices of Reps. George Miller (CA-07), Ellen Tauscher (CA-10) and Jerry McNerney (CA-11)
